The village of Dabovik is situated in Northeastern Bulgaria, on the Dobrudja Plateau,about 70 km north of Varna, 60 minutes driving from Varna international airport.
Rural tourism is developping in the village. The is a big ethnographic exposition in the museum, and also a museum of Dora Gabe, a famous Bulgarian poet, who was born in this village. Every year it is hold “Ivan Georgiev” competition for young folklore performers and also “Dora Gabe” national competition for a young poet.
The population of the village is 180 people.
In Dabovik there is regular transport, a post office, a community center, medical services, a shop and a pub.
