The town of Devnya is situated 29 km west of Varna, 15 minutes driving from Varna international airport, close to Varna-Sofia highway road.
Devnya is situated in a small valley sorrounded by low limestone hills. It is in the last slopes of Stara planina mountain and the Dobrudja plateau, only on the east side to the lake of Beloslav and therefore to the sea. A natural landmark of the valley are the 30 karst springs as the most picturesque is the “Magic spring” which is connected with ancient legends.
The town has a long history. It was established in 106 by the Roman emperor Trayan under the name of Marcianopolis.
Devnya is a municipal center and it has rich cultural and economic life. The population is about 9,500 people.
The town offers all facilities necessary por perament residence.
