The village of Gabritsa is situated 98 km. northwesterly of Varna, about 33 km from Shoumen, about 90 minutes driving from Varna international airport.
The territory where the village is situated is hilly, and the surroundings are covered with deep forests. The game preserve of Palamara is sitiated only 17 km. from the village. Palamara has a hotel with a pub. Hunting, cognitive and alternative tourism is developed.
The game preserve has good reserves of red deer, wild boars, does. In the very end of the village there is a dam with fish.
The population is about 770 people.
Gabritsa offers regular transport, a school, a shop, a community center, a kindergarten.
