The village of Kalnovo is situated 20 km from Shoumen, 102 km west of Varna, about 85 minutes driving from Varna international airport.
Kalnovo is situated on the northern slopes of Stara planina and it is surrounded by wonderful forests and clean nature. There is a dam only 2 km from the village and Gorna Kamchiya river passes trough the village.
The population is about 135 people.
In the village there is regular transport, a church, a medicine service, a community center, a post, a shop.
