The village of Kumanovo is only 9 km away from Varna and the sea. The distance to Golden Sands resort is about 10 km, to St. Konstantin resort – 8 km and to Albena Resort – 20 km. The village is only 15 km from Varna International Airport away.
The location of the village is on the Frangensko Plateau, at 309 m altitude, north of Varnà. Batova river takes its source in Kumanovo, it flows through the village and separates it in to parts, forming a picturesque valley, overgrown with poplars and other broad-leaved trees.
The attractive location, unpolluted environment, picturesque views and fresh air makes the village an attractive place for living for people who prize the adequate recreation, but who also want to enjoy the city comfort and the attractions of Bulgarian Black Sea resorts.
The population of the village is 400, some of the people are foreign citizens – English, French etc.
There are a post-office, church, municipal building, several shops, one of them is open non-stop, public houses, hotel in the village as well as regular public transport.
