“Albena” is one of the most beautiful resorts on the Black sea cost of Bulgaria. It is situated in a picturesque gulf, near “Baltata” national preserve. The resort is situated 29 km north of Varna, 16 km south of Balchik, only 20 min driving from Varna international airport.
The complex has one of the widest beach stripes, almost 6 km long, and it offers spacious beaches with fine golden sand. “Albena” is an ecologically clean resort, which offers cristal clear sea water, hipothermal mineral water, specific maritime climate and fresh air, rich in salts, ozone, bromine and iodine. The complex has one of the biggest balneological centers in the country, served by highly qualified specialists.
The resort offers about 15000 beds in 47 hotels, situated on the coast itself or on the surrounding hills. To all its visitors the complex offers various day and night bars, locals, restaurants, folklore and dancing show programs. The sport base in Albena is one of the biggest and most developed sports rehabilitation bases in this part of the world. It provides terrains and devices for practising more than 40 types of sport. A golf-course is being constructed near “Albena”.
In the complex there are a lot of banks, pharmacies, shops,an emergency centre, a post centre, dentist services, regular transport.
