Krapets is a small fishing village situated on the north Bulgarian Black sea coast. It is located 92 km north of Varna town, 70 minutes driving from Varna international airport.
Krapets is a quiet and silent place, which is famous for its sand dunes and beautiful nature. The region is ecologically clean, the sea is calm. The village is known for its beach line, which is long 6 km and it is unique in the whole Black sea coast. 1 km north of the village is situated the lake of Dourankulak, which is extremely attractive for the fishermen for being rich of different types of fishes. A large number of different protected birds inhabit and nidificate in the region.
Many archeological objects were found here, including necropoles as well as one of the oldest neolithic villages in Europe.
The population of Krapets is 299 people.
The village offers all facilities for holidays and for permanent residence.
