The village of Cherkovna is situated 60 km west of Varna, 40 minutes driving from Varna international airport.
It is situated in a flat country and ecologically clean region. The dam of Cherkovna is very close to the village. Its size is 67 000 m2, which makes the villae very attractive for fishing.
The population of Cherkovna is around 250 people.
In the village there is a community center, found in 1927, a library of 5 000 volumes of books. Cherkovna offers regular public transport, a shop and a pub.
