The village of Kipra is situated 32 km west of Varna, 20 minutes driving from Varna airportand only 2 km from Varna-Sofia highway.
Kipra is situated at the woody foots of Franga plateau, on the slope of Devnya lowland. It is sheltered by three ravines.
The region of Kipra had been inhabited since the remote past. The oldest tracks are dating the stone age, before 5th century BC. At the foot of Franga plateau there had existed a settlement. At the very end of the plateau, near the village there is a Thracian necropolis. During the Roman period the village of Kipra had been within the borders of the town area of the Roman and early Byzantine town of Martsianopolis.
The population of the village is 510 people.
In Kipra there is regular transport, a post, shops and pubs.
